Off to The DR.................

After not sleeping last night and a fever of 104 Lily got hauled off to the Dr's office today. She has a double ear infection, a cold, a flu bug (luckily that is almost gone...) and on top of that she is teething. Poor little girl....

The good news is that after I gave her the medication she took a four hour nap----which was a HUGE blessing to me!!

Sick Baby...I need your Comments Please!!

My poor little Lily is sick. She's got a runny nose, cough, congestion, and a fever. The fever has been going on for over 3 days now. Oh, and not to be gross, but she's got a slight case of diarrhea too. Things seem to be getting worse. Not better. I've been giving her infant Tylenol for the fever and aches and pains, but it doesn't take the fever completely away.....just reduces it. Is that normal?

So all you mom's (and Dad's)--at what point do you give in and take them to the DR? I hate to spend the money for them to say, "it's a cold--wait it out." But I'd also hate to have her suffer because I am cheap and an inexperienced mother who doesn't have a clue what she is doing?!?!?

OK everyone what do I do??????????????

Meet Laura....

Any Girl who can spin around on her head in the middle of the bowling ally at a Shepherd family party, has earned her keep!

Congratulations to my brother Michael who in my opinion, has drastically improved his taste in women. Aren't they cute and fun together?

Lily's First Christmas

Christmas morning in Prescott! Lily liked to open the first present, but after that it wasn't very interesting to her!

Grandma and Grandpa got her some cute PJ's!

The batteries were Lily's favorite thing!

She also liked her piano. Makayla wanted to try out Lily's piano but Lily didn't like that idea! She lunged at her and pushed her away. What a brat of a child I have!!

Every girl has to have a cabbage patch kid! Except Lily is scared of it! She throws it every time I give it to her and starts whining! She does that with both of her dolls.......

After presents and breakfast we drove home. We were hoping to make it in time to hang out with my family for a little bit on Christmas. Instead we spent Christmas in a hotel because the weather was SOOOOOO awful! The freeway was even closed due to the snow!

What a Christmas to remember!!

Arizona!

This year we spent Christmas in AZ. Eric has Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and his Grandparents who all live there! I also have relatives there and we got to see them one evening as well! We met Eric's mom, dad, sister, her husband and baby who are all from CA. We really had a great time visiting, "partying", and shopping!! Here's a few pictures before the big Christmas morning celebration!

We started out trip out in Phoenix. Eric went with the boys to a BYU basketball game. The girls and babies stayed at Troy's (our brother-in-law) brothers house and played with kids and did a puzzle. Lily loved it because she actually got to play outside! The weather was fantastic!

The rest of the vacation was spent in Prescott where all the family lives! We stayed with Aunt Carol and Uncle Jack who were the perfect hosts! Thanks so much! Their dog Molly and Lily became fast friends. We couldn't keep Lily away form the poor dog. By the end of the week Molly was glad to see Lily leave!!

Makalyla and Lily are only 6 months apart. They had a hard time getting used to each other, but once they did they were sure cute together!

Nana, Papa and Lily! Lily's GREAT Grandparents! It was so good to visit with them and have them meet Lily! We are excited to visit them again in March when Uncle Curt gets MARRIED!!
